Default Steering wheel controls w new stereo?

Is there a converter or device in existence that would let me keep my steering wheel controls if I bought a new stereo. Getting tired of making CD's. would much rather use my phone or an ipod or something, but I LOVE those controls.

read the sticky at the top of this sub-forum, it is the Yellow part. and yes to your question. Different brand stereo's use different part # on the adapter.

Agreed. I just put it in my car. Simple as connecting a few wires, then pushing the volume up button on the wheel. And you're done.
