Default Trans am air bag light code 26 Driver Initiator Circuit Open

Had my buddy use his fancy snap on scanner to scan my constant air bag light on my 95 trans am. The radio controls do not light up when the headlights are turned on and the airbag light is constant with the code 26 coming up on the scanner. What could be the problem and the fix for this? I have a sony headunit installed. The light has been on ever since I got the car in 2007.

Is the airbag missing or disabled? Are there any blown fuses?

I would not know what fuses to check. I replaced the driver air bag a few years back, but it never went off.
