Hi all,

2002 Anniversary SS here w/ Monsoon radio with steering wheel controls AND cd changer.

Any idea what my factory part number for the radio is?

Thanks!

I don't have the p/n but am pretty sure you won't be finding any new ones.

Do you have a problem with the one you have currently? There are a number of posts here to fix several common problems.

The original part number was 10306067 but that has long since been discontinued and the part number has been re-assigned to a different part. DO NOT ORDER that part number - you won't get a radio. wssix99 is correct, you're unlikely to find a new one anywhere. There are still plenty of used ones around.

Thank you both for your help!

My radio has a cracked screen and has a few burnt out backlights. A vendor on eBay needed the original part number to verify he had the correct replacement unit.

Thanks again!!

I'd recommend getting a replacement from a place like this: http://www.replacementradios.com/

A pulled unit from fleabay will just end up with the same problems you have now. The place above can re-condition the radio and put better bulbs in, etc.

You can also call them and get a replacement screen and follow this thread to replace the burned out bulbs yourself: https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...hen-i-did.html

Y - Just make sure you ask them to confirm that they have reconditioned the radio and replaced the bulbs. I talked to the guy there a while back and he said that the bulbs that came from the factory were 12V bulbs and don't handle the spikes in power that the radio sees when the car starts up.

Anyway, I installed 14V bulbs as they recommended, (and do for their repairs) and have been great for years.

Well we'll see soon, I ordered the "perfect condition" factory replacement Monsoon radio that they refurbished along with the CDChanger Aux-In Ipod connector.
