Another free service for you guys to make installs easier! We are now offering to send your Pac Audio SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Modules all programmed and ready for you to install when you buy one of our radio packages!
This should make the installation of your new aftermarket radio a breeze and take the pain away from messing with the programming of the module.
With this option on our packages we have made it as easy as we can for you to install one of our NAV or single din upgrade packages.
The biggest trouble everyone has had is programming the SWI interface for to retain the steering wheel controls. We have had all kinds of calls with questions.
Well....
Now we have fixed this for you guys.
We are now programming the SWI interface module for you with our programmer we have from Pac Audio
This eliminates the need to set there and do this by hand
All we need to know is year of car when setting the programming for you:thumbs:
Of course we will know the radio as we will be sending it as well in your package
Here is an example of the process which takes us less than a minute to do and saves you all form the headaches:woohoo:
We can customize any install ready packages for you for all your upgrade needs.
Just check out our packages or call to have us build a package for you
Just make sure to note you would like would like the free programming of the SWI-RC and we will do all but 2 wires which you will need to connect. Rest is plug and play

Kenwood 9990HD
We have our setup with the RC
We are asked for model of SWI we are using for install
Next is what brand of radio
Make of the car we are setting up
The model of the car
Enter the year
We enter if the radio has BT or not
We start our programming
couple seconds later all set and ready for install:thumbs:

Hi Devan,
I bought one only last month and to be honest, I am not having a good time installing it! It is the instructions, they make little sense or not clear for my application.
If you can help right here I would be most grateful. How do I connect it!! there is one blue cable from my original stereo and my Kenwood has a cable but no jack? Do I have to use this jack??? You did confirm at the time of ordering that is was compatable with my 1999 Trans Am but exactly how.
PS - great service btw and the unit looks fab in my car!
