I received a Alpine IVA-C801 CD player and like a sound processor box(brain). I can't remember the exact model of the "brain". its a matching set for the mobile media station as they call it. I guess you can hook up a playstation or DVD player or whatever if that was your thing. I hooked it up to a battery and the "brain" seems to be working and the CD player screen works etc... I currently have a $100 Pioneer CD player with a USB port on the front. I am just wondering if this Alpine unit and "brain" are worth the trouble of hooking up?
