Default Power Acoustik PD-931NB Install

Whats up guys,

So its officially time to upgrade my headunit. I used to own a single din jensen POS flip out touchscreen and ever since it died along with my 1996 v6 camaro....rest her soul.... ive been dying to get a double din in the Z. Well after some intense research based on price range, what I wanted out of the unit, etc I discovered a new single din touchscreen unit that offers non of the negatives of the traditional flipscreen.

(non-sponsor link replaced with manufacturer's information)

If the above is a banned link just search for it on the power acoustik website

Does anyone own this monster??

Anyways I ordered the unit and it should be in on friday.

Im basically just looking for any advice as far as bezel fabbing goes. The screen is a whopping 9.3 in with a height of 6.25 and a width of 9.75 so I am definitely prepared to do some fabbing. I have some fiberglass experience so I was debating whether to go that route or another. Any recommendations would be awesome.

yeah yeah yeah ive already done that, just wanted to start my install thread out of pure excitement

I feel like this thing could look very clean and ill post pics once I install it

Here it is installed. The screen fits over the HVAC controls perfectly giving me easy access to them. I will be working on the bezel over the next few weeks and will upload pics once im done. I dont think it will be too tough my main concerns are keeping the 35th anniversary symbol and I may have to relocate my fog light switch but I feel like once its done it will look really good.
