i need a place to mount these tweeters....

my front doors are getting a 6.5" CV pro midbass and the sails are either getting a 8" version of the midbass or a 6" coaxial the sub is a ported DD 1508

i just need a place to mount these beasts. and im not sure if they will fit in the door panels... they are 2.5" deep and a 3" cutout hole

i changed my system design... ALOT... building a setup for SQ competition theres going to be morel tweeters that are about the same size... im going to get a PVC cap and make that a pod for the tweeter and mount them to the pillar pods by the dash... the front doors im going to have to figure out how to fit these 3.5" deep midbass there... otherwise there wont be any speakers anywere else in the car.. 2 midbass, 2 tweets a sub and thats it... Time alignment and active crossover systems are complicated haha

Anarchy's are what im going with... i will make them work hahaha i know on my T/A i ran Image Dynamics Chameleon series midbass in a custom sealed pod and the mount depth on those is 3.1" the anarchys are 3.6" so with a 3/4 or 1/2 inch spacer they should be just fine.

my only concern is that they are true 7" or 7.5" speakers so a spacer ring that will allow it to fit would be needed

Damn those r huge! A rock band pop out of em? U shoulda just picked up some 1" titanium those r going to look awfull. Purpose of a tweet is to clear ur highs with out drawing attention. Good luck with that ur gonna have to hack something to make em fit. N when they go bad u have a huge hole u can't fill

the morels i ended up going with are going to be mounted in pods to the apillar

and tweeters arent to clear out your highs... they cover every frequency from the edge of the midbass all the way up to the point of were you cant even hear the frequency.

you wouldn't be interested in trying to fiberglass in a tweeter mount on your a-pillar? imo, looks much cleaner and factory designed
