So on my 1998 SS everything is fine but every now and then out of the blue the radio shuts off and the windows stop working. It will come back on then back off several times slowly and then eventually come back to working. If you try to roll the window down immediately after the radio comes back on, the radio and windows shut off immediately again. Any idea what it could be? I really don't want to chase a short, maybe it could be a bad relay? Are these things on the same circuit?

Search around for "BCM Fix" common problem with the BCM, the fix involves taking out the BCM under the passenger side dash and heating up a solder point on the board with a solder gun, i did it a while back and havent had any problems since.
