Default Help with speaker install

I have the level 2 Kee Audio package for my Formula. I got the head unit in fine. Didn't even attempt the door speakers, but I did try to do the easier sail panel speaker/subs. I thought the Kee package came with all the adapters needed but my package didn't come with any speaker adapters. If they were supposed to be in there I'll need to contact Ian, otherwise, how do you guys wire them up? Do you cut the wires from the stock speakers and then solder or splice them to the new CDT speakers? Or is there some kind of DVC wire adapter that can just plug into the stock wires and connect to the speakers?

Is there adapters for the door speakers? They're CDT too.

Oh, and any tips for not breaking the lock indicator when taking the door panels off, or at least how to fix them if they do break? Heard that happens a lot.

I have a harder time not breaking the curved bezel for the locks/window switches/Door handle.

And I just cut the wires when I did them.... But I've long since rewired the entire car.

I'm having my mechanic replace my passenger side window motor. I asked if he did electrical stuff and would do all the speakers since he will already have a door panel off. He said he would. Should I just let him do it or should I get adapters for the door speakers?

I found this on amazon
Amazon.com: Metra 72-4568 Speaker Harness for Select GM Vehicles: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Metra 72-4568 Speaker Harness for Select GM Vehicles: Car Electronics
It says it doesn't fit but I think it will...I could get 2 of those, one for each door? Or should I just let him cut those wires as well as the ones for the sail panel speakers?

To my knowledge, nobody makes speaker wiring adapters for the Monsoon system. Most people just cut the factory connectors off the original speakers and connect them to their aftermarket speakers to make them plug-and-play.

Ok I'll let him know that. Will the monsoon amp affect the wiring at all that I should give him a heads up on? I kept the monsoon amp and I'm keep the stock hatch speakers, just replacing the sail panels and the doors with CDT's from Kee, the head unit is in already

No, the amp will have no effect on speaker wiring.
