Dead Stereo 1997 Camaro Just bought this car and radio is dead.
Checked fuses and they are fine.
So I guess I just need another one.
Any idea where to get a cheap stock one for now?

Dude you can get cheap aftermarkets around like 60-70 bucks new (I wouldn't but then again I care about SOUND QUALITY) or hit craigslist and find a decent used one.
Also, let me ask you this, do the windows work? on these cars it is a known issue with what is called the BCM, where some solder joints break and cause the windows and radios to stop working or be intermittent, but if your windows work then this would not be an issue.

Windows are manual.
And yes I know I can get GOOD sound but working on replacing my drivetrain 1st then I'll spend the money on an EXCELLENT sound system with Nav and all the bells and whistles.
But for now I guess I'll look thru Craigslist for a cheap unit.
