How are these for "sail" replacement subwoofers/
#3
I had a set of AudioPipe subs in my T/A and never had a problem with them. They were a night and day improvement over the stock speakers - crisp bass with some real depth. However, our sponsor Kee Audio stopped selling them because people were experiencing problems with the spider coming loose on them:
Alot of people were ok with the Audiopipes but I had enough problems with the spider coming loose on them that I had to discontinue carrying them. They sounded good and had a nice design with the screw in terminals but they attached the pos and neg leads to the spider on them and people would push to hard on the screws with the screw driver attaching the wires and pop the spider loose. I replaced alot of those and decided it just wasn't worth it anymore when I had the Bazooka doing a great job already with no returns on them. They are bullet proof.

The Bazookas are very popular and quite capable but I don't think they are any better than AudioPipe... in fact, I would be tempted to say the opposite is true just because Bazooka doesn't have a great reputation in the audio world (they're kind of the WalMart of audio).
