Default "Err" message when trying to play CDs
Not sure what's up with this, actually been doing it since I bought the car. I've been trying to figure it out. Sounds like the changer is loading the CDs but won't play them. Anyone with any suggestions? Common issue? Time to just scrap it and get something new?

Has it ever played CD's? Make sure you're burning them in the correct file format. The Monsoon HU CD player WON'T play MP3 CD's.

Did you check the stickies? There should be info in there on the codes.

If you're talking about the optional external CD changer in the hatch area... are you sure you put the CDs in the trays correctly? They go in label side DOWN - opposite to what just about every other changer does.

Well I'll be a mf'n monkey's uncle...how have I not heard of this before? Flipped em over in the tray and BAM! Very odd that they do load that way, I've never seen one take CDs that way.

did the same thing with mine.... Then I noticed on the disc magazine it stated how to load them correctly. Label down

This happened to me too. Pulled the manual out of the glove box and found out that I should've taken the time to read the writing on the CD trays as well.

Guess I should have done that! Reading is fundamental! lol

Truly have never seen a changer load that way
