Default Battery power for relocation (cca's)

So I'm searching up a storm on which battery to use for my relocation kit in the trunk.. (Tick performance battery relocation kit)

It's a 98 camaro turbo build with 4 autometer gauges, eboost2, lc-1 wideband gauge, and I plan on a triple walbro setup.. The main pump will be connected to the alternator (racetronix hotwire) pumps 2 and 3 direct to the battery and a hobb switch to activate.

I don't own a battery at the moment, I have my sealed box mounted in the trunk and I need to pick up a battery. Would a stock replacement battery suffice? Should I be looking at a beefy cold cranking amp (cca) battery? 800+

I've heard people's stock batteries not giving enough juice after a relocation. Thanks for the help

I would go with the battery that has the most CCA you can find. you will have amperage drop from the long cable run. I would also use large gauge welding cable for your run.

There's a duralast gold 800 CCA's for $125 at autozone with a 5 yr replacement.. I might do that..

The tick kit comes with 2 gauge wire for the battery already

2 gauge might work 1/0 gauge would be better, and is what I believe most that do something like this do. try the 2 if your voltage drops to low then upgrade to the 1/0.

Yes I've searched and I haven't heard of any problems with people using 2 gauge, I think people have problems with bad grounds and choosing wrong locations for them..

But I'll keep the 1/0 in mind thanks..
