if i was to get one like that i'd add the texturizer to it and probably do a semi-gloss like i did on my custom made bezel i did. It matches well and i wouldn't want a totally smooth one like this ebay bezel but it is a good price even if you have to do some stuff to make it look like stock

Looks cool - I'd like to see how the thing actually looks. If someone buys it, post pics.

It's on ebay, the OP's link was removed.

I'll say this - I absolutely love my DD Mods one (literally just received it within the last couple weeks). Dennis does a great job and his customer service is outstanding. They do take a while, but I sent in a spare that I picked up off fleabay, so I didn't mind the leadtime.

The one thing I am NOT thrilled with is the finish on the DD Mods. It's textured, but I was hoping it'd be a lot more "fine" and closer to the OE texture. Car's been in the garage for the winter, so I'd like to get it out and in the daylight and see how close it really matches. I am ridiculously picky though - I just want it to look like it was always there. Again, Dennis does a great job!

I think if these things are completely newly molded pieces, they may match the texture better, and they may wear better since the DD piece inherently has to be painted.

Some images seem to show a textured finish...others look like a smooth black plastic.

Please, keep us informed!

i apologize for the late response guys i have been busy. but here you go overall im very happy with this piece and highly recommend it!

as you can see its a flat finish which i actually like, but it would be very easy to paint and customize, quality of the piece was there def sturdy and exactly like factory

This is it all installed, you do have to swap over the air vents and any switches or emblems from your old one. radio i put in was kenwood ddx770 which is a 7 inch screen, fit nice!

just to point out the metal tabs that are on your old bezel need to be swapped as well they just twist off and twist on to the new one so you can snap it all back in

Damn that's nice to see. How does it fit int he dash and does it compare to factory really in terms of the same shape and stuff? does it come with brackets for the radio to mount to the dash?
