that's about enough to buy the plates the one guy sells for 60 and a set of the hella 60mm projectors, the BLS kit so much more then that, it has a HID kit that on it's own is 150+ shipping from the Retrofit Source and the covers (which unless you make them yourself) can only be gotten from BLS just really cleans up the look. but BLS has also reworked their kits to a Version 2 that no longer uses the Hella 60mm for the low beam and instead uses the D2S mini 2.0 projector which is a bi-xenon projector that has a solenoid that lowers the cut-off shield when you engage the high beams effectively giving you TRUE quad HI-beams. Which is a significant amount more light then your crappy halogen high beams offer even when combined with the hella 60mm low beams.

here are two shots, one is the LMC housings (which are a step up from the stock sealed beams) using the halogen bulbs that came with them and the other is the V2 BLS kit (5000k hid in lows, 9005 halogen highs) with the D2S lows and Hella highs, both pics are full high beams to give you an idea of the level of light differences.

I stand by saying that I would/will save for the blackbird kit. I am not a fabricator and believe in buying stuff made for my car. Modernization of this 1998 car is one of my passions and one thing newer cars kick *** at is lighting. My friends 2015 corolla has low beams that act like my high beams but better. The 2013 mustangs have the led tail lights that you can see day or night even in direct sunlight. As do the chargers from 2013+. Why should they have all the quality lighting and me not? Tails aren't as big a deal but I've been told they're dim in direct sunlight. I think its the housings not the bulbs. If I had some dark bordered housings like the mustang/charger from 2013 it would make it easier to see when I'm braking. As for the headlights yeah Im sold on the blackbird kit just finishing suspension and brake mods first then I'll wait for a group buy...
