interior lights acting goofy
Is this wiring going in the DRL module behind the radio? I also have something running the batt down over night. but not always. just intermediate trouble. Some told me was probally the DRL module because its around 2.5 amp draw when it is pulling batt down. if I unhook batt. and put volt meter in series the draw goes away. I am going to buy a clamp on meter soon.
back to my car 2002 trans am. stock interior no led stuff. it does have a one wire type alt. with under drive pulley on crank and over drive on alt.
any help please.... what all works through the DRL module????
The Body Control Module (BCM) is responsible for the interior (courtesy) lights. It has a special closed circuit that controls the ground to produce the theater dimming effect of the interior lights and shuts off the power to the lights after a certain amount of time (battery saver circuit). It also has a number of other functions including VATS and the factory alarm along with the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) circuit that keeps the radio on and power windows available until a door is opened.
