Amp or Head Unit?
Amp or Head Unit? On my 00 Camaro with Monsoon, the driver side front door speaker and rear hatch speaker sound blown. I changed the rear hatch speakers out and it still sounds blown. They both sound this way at mid to high volume but not low. I haven't touched the front door speaker yet, but this is leaving me to believe it could be the amp or head unit that is no good?
Can anyone confirm my thoughts to be correct?

what type of speaker did you replace it with? The reason I ask, are you sure there is enough power going to it. a quick and dirty way to test it would be to swap the speakers from driver side to passenger side. If the speaker is in fact blown it should sound like crap on the other side. If it doesn't you know you are dealing with an issue with amp or HU.
If you have multiple speakers doing the same thing I would lean towards the HU being the issue, but to be honest without swapping out each item it would be tough to rule it out.
I would troubleshoot in this order.
Swap the speakers as I mentioned and see if the issue "travels" with the suspected blown speaker.
If that doesn't work, you will have to spend a little money. You could either look for a used monsoon amp or pick up a cheap HU and wiring harness. I would pick up a HU first, but that's just me. The reason is, we know these radios are a weak link.
This is just how I would go about it.
