Stock 99FB Stereo cuts out intermitantly

Hi my stereo has been doing this for a while. Every so often it just stops for working 30 seconds to a few minutes. Nothing else looses power.

Has anyone else had this problem? I am beginning to wonder if the power switch is just going bad.

Are you not able to roll your windows down/up also when that's off?

That would be a yes... he can roll the windows down or up when the radio cuts out.

What AiDRocks is leading to is a fix that involves the Body Control Module (BCM) and the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) circuit which powers the radio and the power windows. The fix is discussed in this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...blems-fix.html
