Alternator Problems need HELP

Alternator Problems need HELP I have 2000 ws6 with a 4 pin ALT wireing setup. The plus got hot and burned threw the wires. I cant Figure out what wires go where in the plug. I can't find anything on any website or google. Called around and still no answer. On this plug is A,B,C,D the wires are color coded. RED,BLACK,PURPLE,ORANGE,YELLOW. I am stuck an the car wont charge if not in the right place.

The factory configuration has a 4-pin plug but only one wire - red in position B, the other three positions are unused. How has your car been modified (i.e. what alternator are you using)? Others use two or three wires but I don't remember a four wire model offhand.

My car is on a autozone alt. I mean nothing has really changed other than the wires being burned in to from the headers the heat an all. The car has ran fine before then. I'm going to see what I can do because hooking the red wire to B is not doing anything but make ing my gauge jump from good to bad. The car isn't charging at all there's somthing wrong it's a 2000 model. But idk I've tried everything I could red wire only. Plugged all the rest up nothing. Car won't run u less it's hooked to my truck an it's running off my truck an not it's self.
