What amp alternator?

What amp alternator? Ok car is a 2001 b4c. I am running a m4 255w dc/dc power supply for carputer, and a Rockford Fosgate r600x5 amp with 4 jbl gto 60w 6.5s and a unknown pioneer 10" sub that fits in the stealth box.
I have been running a 145amp, brand new, alternator for a little over a year just fine minus the sub. The sub has been in less then a month and the voltage regulator went out. I had a spare 130amp laying around but it can't bring the voltage past 13.1.
So should I chalk up this up as a it was time for it go or did i stress it out and start looking into the aftermarket?
