Hi, I have owned a 2002 Camaro B4C for about 8 years. A few years back I put different size tires on (all 4). My ABS/INOP Brake light started to stay on. I finally had my PCM programed by JHR Performance in Mooresville for corrected tire size. The lights are still on, and ABS able scanner showed 'No connection to ABS'??? I was aware of a white wire coming off the PCM that had a section missing from it. I will post pics. The other end of wire can also be seen to the right of PCM. I used a test light on the wire coming from the PCM and it flashes when car is running. Not a consistent light, but on-off-on-off-on-off.... Any idea if this may be my ABS/INOP Brake problem? What is the white wire? I have a wiring diagram for my specific car in my service manual, but I have not had any luck with finding an acceptable ABS wiring diagram. Thanks!

There are three white wires at the PCM:
- Engine Speed (Tach) Output Signal
- Cruise Control Enable Signal
- EVAP Canister Vent Valve Control
None of those are ABS related so I doubt they are the cause of your problem. However, if you know that the wire is broken and you can see both ends of it, why wouldn't you fix it anyway?
Thanks for the info! Tach works, cruise works, no engine light on. The reason I have not re-wired it was the last time I had a situation like that ended up causing other problems. Electrical gremlins! I didn't know what the wire was and why it may have separated like that. Now that I know what it is I will re-wire it. Probably check the ABS code again.
