Default I have enough bass

can I replace the stock 6inch monsoon powered subs in my car with a good sound quality mid-bass speaker? I just added a JL 10w6 in a custom enclosure to my car, so the 6inch subs are not needed or even heard at all! I could use more mid notes, cause treble is pretty good, and the bass is great! Any suggestions would be great! Also what is a direct replacement for the tweaters all the way in the back, that will work great with the stock monsoon system?

I assume you are using the stock Monsoon system with an outboard amp running the sub? The rear sail panel subs are 2 ohm units, and it's impossible to find an aftermarket 6.5" midrange speaker that is 2 ohm, only 4 ohm units are available. A 4 ohm coaxial speaker, (6.5" mid with tweeter on it) would work, it just wouldn't be very loud. In the interest of sound quality, most people just upgrade the power and speakers in the front doors, and disconnect the rear speakers because if you went to a concert, all the sound would be coming from in front of you, not from the rear. Go with coaxials for a modest rear fill. With a dedicated sub like you have, adding more mid-bass only would be about worthless. Mid-bass is pretty much "junk" noise, anyways. Most of it gets eaten up by road noise. Get some good coaxs and enjoy a bit more clean sound while your JL spits out the true bass.
