Default 12v power source?

i am looking for a 12v power source in the dash that is switched. i need it to power some leds but i do not want it to always be on or "hot". i was thinking the radio but im not sure if that would work. also i have a 94 trans am. not sure if the wiring stuff is the same with the ls1 and lt1 but thought you guys could help. thanks

the yellow wire in the radio power plug is switched , the brown wire in the ignition switch harness is "key on" accessory , the orange wire in the ignition switch harness is also"key on" accessory , the pink wire in ignition switch harness is "run" wire , or you could just use a spare terminal in the fuse box ,lots of options there.

thanks.....i think the radio might be the easiest for me to get to
