Hello, I will be installing a subwoofer in the driverside trunk area of my 96z28 and was wondering what subwoofer would be a good option?
I already have the custom fit box that holds a 10 inch i believe.
Also would like to hear some opinions on which amp and rear panel speakers i should go with?
I already have a very nice clarion head unit installed.

This is the box its going into. Its the stealth box. Not sure on what rms sub i would want? Something that doesn't stress the stock 140amp alternator? Maybe 300rms? I was reading that the box is around .75 cubic feet.
at .75 theres a good number of choices and theres alot of midrange subs that go from 250-400 rms. So you have alot of choices. What kind of music do you listen to? That can help with choices as certain subs are sq or spl. Any particular brand you go with or comfortable using? Whats your price point at? Sorry for all the questions, its a just such a range you can go with.
95% rock, 5% bass rap. I always liked clarion and my head unit is a clarion. But i would use a different brand if sound quality is sacrificed. Not sure how much rms i need maybe 300? Do they make small amps to hide in our f body cars. I have a 96 z28. Bose system.
You can hide a small enough low profile amp under 1 of your seats if thats what you want to do. I prefer to stay away from main stream car audio and try other brands, but that's a personal preference and i like switching up. For what your looking for.
Alpine type s- its a lil more rms then what your looking for, but with a good amp you'll be fine. There not expensive and its well within your .cu range
Another solid choice would be
JL AUDIO 10W1v3-2 10" Single 2 Ohm W1v3
little more expensive, but stays right on your 300 rms you stated and does very well in small enclosures.
you can also check out sundown audio, they make some nice stuff.
