LED conversion kit
Thanks.
The LMC Truck housings are direct fit, but you'll have to replace the bulb connector on the car with 9006 or 9005 connectors for low beam and high beam respectively . They make a low beam and high beam version. I have the High beam on my car with LED. My Low Beam are HID Projectors.
The LMC truck headlights are designed for 9006/9005 bulbs and on the Firebird you'll need the version with the straight connector. 9012/9011 will fit but you'll need to trim the bucket/holder on the car for the bulb to fit since it is right angle. You'll have to trim the bucket for LED too since they have wide heat sinks and fans at the back.

Did you order the version of the bulbs with straight connectors or right-angle connectors? The straight connectors will fit the car without any trimming. The right angle-connector version will need trimming to fit.

Getting my driver's headlight just working was an upgrade. The aftermarket connector was just so loose, connection wise. I couldn't solder direct to the headlight but I could wrap some wire on each lead and solder that up, essentially tightening it up onto the headlight lead. A little janky ... but the cops won't be pulling me over!!

The brights are still the stock housing. While I'm at it, I'll probably replace the fogs.
