Spring mod in place. Shocks good. Only get a click when using fob or button to open trunk. Even if I press down on trunk lid or pull up while pressing only getting one click per button press.

if I need a new motor, where can I find other than used on eBay? Rebuild thread?

Is this about the release not releasing on the first press of the keyfob button or the dash button? Curious, because it takes 2-3 presses of either button to pop the trunk up enough for me to be able to lift it open. Not sure if this is a common problem, or if this is the solution to that.

Mine wasn’t in latching at all. I heard a click at the trunk and on inside the car..no matter how many times I pressed the button on the fob or inside the car it wouldn’t unlatch.

I opened the trunk by unbolting the trunk latch from inside the car. I detached and reattached the wire/harness then it worked.
