Default Best system to replace monsoon with???

I have the Kee audio 2.5lvl pack and the monsoon doesn't get anywhere near as loud as I'd like, Yes I've verified polarity is correct on all speakers. My main question is since I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to sound systems what would be a good system to run? I have all 6 speakers in the car with a power acoustic head unit. I want to achieve really good bass (especially at high volume), be able to crank the stereo to painfully loud levels, and have the most clear sound as possible.

If you actually want louder front stage, you need more power and probably need to upgrade to an aftermarket multi channel amp and essentially delete the monsoon amp completely. This would require you to run some speaker wire to the doors/sail panels/hatch. Thats assuming you don't want to upgrade the speakers as well.

If you just want some more cabin shaking bass, you can keep the setup as you have it and just add an amp to power a subwoofer box or tube. The headunit you have should be able to send a low level wire or RCA signal out to the aftermarket external amp for the subwoofer.

Just my experience,, Monsoon is like Bose, their speakers require very high current (The 2ohm speakers.... suck power)
You almost need a set of single channel bridgeable amps , OR a monster amp that can handle low resistance speakers...

So easiest way to get loud is a new amp and new speakers... "Some assembly ma be required" on fitting aftermarket stuff in the factory speaker grills.

Been 2 decades since I messed with one so just a broad stroke opinion..

I did a full Kee audio speaker upgrade and also did my head unit. I grabbed a double din bezel from a local vendor here (10 years ago) and swapped the original out with a nice pioneer unit that had its own 35wx4 output. That seemed to keep the sound system as loud if not louder than the original. I have the monsoon amp still hooked up. No complaints yet.

What I am planning on is head unit into a 10 or 12 channel sound processor, then 4 channel amp for highs (doors and hatch), 4 channel amp for mids (doors and hatch), 1 or 2 channel amp for mid-bass in the sails, 1 channel amp for a stealth box sub.

You're best bang for the buck IMO is to get a small sub box with a decent 10" sub woofer. Get a decent 2 channel amp - go bridged mono. Mount that amp to the box. Run a power wire to it. Run speaker level from the rear speakers to the high level in on the amp. Done. I ran like that for years until I changed my head unit.
