Driver side high beam problem. I just bought an 01 WS6 and notic d the driver side high beam wasn't working. Thought it would be no big deal but after buying a new light for it it's still working. I checked the wires for power and only one of them showed hot. Before I get into trying to trail it down I thought I'd see if both wires running to the light are supposed to be hot or just one.
I'm also thinking about converting all the front lights to LED. late model lighting seems to be the only place to get a full easy install kit. Are they worth it or should I source them out separately?

There are many threads on Lighting Upgrades and Lighting Issues.
For your lighting issue, you'll need to trace that wire to check for a break or bad connector. Down the line, there is a 5-pin connector which might have some corrosion.
For lighting upgrades, that Late Model Lighting kit is basically LMC Truck Housings with drop-in LED bulbs. You can buy both yourself and use better LED bulbs than they supply. Do some searching and you'll find threads on options for OEM-looking setups like this and custom projector setups as well.
