4th Gen Electrical Issue Hi all, I have a 1995 Trans Am and the previous owners have done some odd things that have created challenges for me. Today’s challenge is the tail lights. I needed to change a few of them and so decided to change all the lights to LED. This created a whole series of issues - needed to get a different turn signal relay, needed to change all the sockets because some were corroded and some of the wires had broken off. All that’s done now but, upon testing, now the tail lights all flash when I use the left turn signal; the right turn signal and reverse lights don’t work at all. I would love suggestions for how to troubleshoot this.
- one ore more of the bulbs is the wrong type (improper alignment of contacts cause short circuits)
- one or more wrong sockets are being used (improper alignment of contacts cause short circuits)
- the wiring is not correct
