Default Window confusion

Hi, I’m sure this subject has been touched on already, but I did some digging and can’t quite find anyone experiencing the exact same thing. I recently had my drivers side window switch break, so I went ahead and ordered a new (aftermarket) one. Installed it, everything was great. Then all the sudden I noticed my passenger couldn’t roll their window back up. Assumed it was the new drivers side switch, and replaced it again. Same issue. Breaker is good. Passenger window functions as normal with the drivers side switch, but only goes down on the passenger side. Any ideas?

That is almost certainly the passenger's door switch. The driver's door switch for the passenger's window passes current through the passenger's switch, but that doesn't mean that the switch is actually working... it likely isn't moving the contacts when pressed in the up direction.

I thought the exact same thing, but I took the passenger door lock switch and attached the window wiring to it, and it still has the same issue, and I know that switch is fully functional

How about actually testing the switch? Test the switch out of the car by checking for continuity between pins A & D and pins E & C when the switch is pressed in the up position.

The only other possibility besides the switch is that there is no power to the brown power supply wire at pin A of the switch. Everything else is the same between using the driver's switch and using the passenger's switch so they can be eliminated since the window works from the driver's switch.
