I have searched and searched on this site about which wire is the power antenna wire i can use for the remote line, but its all for trans am, camaro, firebird. Are the wires the same on a 2003 gmc sierra? i would really like to use the power antenna wire, but i if anyone else has experience with this and knows something better let me know. thanks for the help

The service manual doesn't list a power antenna as being available for your truck. There is, however, a wire at the head unit labeled "Radio On Signal" in systems that have a remote amplifier (RPO code UQ7). The wire is pink and is in the third pin from the left on the bottom row of the green connector at the head unit. This may or may not be a 12V supply like a power antenna lead. It might just be a pulse signal or some other type of signal so you should check it with a test light or multimeter before using it. This pin position may be empty if you don't have a factory amp but you might still be able to tap into it.
