Factory Alarm Problems When I lock my car it honks twice like usual, but 10 seconds later the alarm goes off on its own. I push the red button with the horn to make it stop. A couple hours later it goes off again. It started doing this a couple days ago. Anybody know what can be the problem?

The factory shock sensors are known for failing and causing the symptoms you describe. Try programming the system to disable the shock sensor and see if you still have the problem.

I disconnected the shock sensor and locked the car. Alarm didnt go off in seconds like usual. So I reconnected the shock sensor to make sure that was the problem. Locked the car again and alarm didnt go off again. Alarm seems to be fine now, didnt go off at all today. Wonder what happen, maybe it got reset when I disconnected it.

shocks ensor can be found over the rear right wheel well. inside the spare tire compartment. the grey **** adjusts its senstivity.
its likley his connections were dirty and causing signal abberations. disconneting and reconnecting scraped some gunk off the contacts is all.
