lights flickering

lights flickering I dont know if this is in the right forum but my buddy has a 2000 formula and his headlights and taillights are always flickering. They will be alright one second and then start to dim all the sudden. Any suggestions will be welcome....Thanks

Alternator , loose headlight grounds or loose connection, check the alt first then the headlights. If it's just the headlights and nothing else acts strange , I would check the grounds , A loose ground would just precisely what you descibe because it makes a ok contact to the the chassis and then doesn't as the car moves /hits bumps.

if hes got a system in his car it could be drawing to much power when the bass hits. there is a quick, easy, and relitively inexpensive solution to the problem buy a 2 FARD capacitor for it
i had that problem till i got an audiobahn 2 FARD CAP
