Pulley + System
Pulley + System Is anyone running an ASP pulley with a crazy stereo system? I want to upgrade my stereo system but im affraid that i will have charging problems. I really dont want to get and overdrive pulley for the alternator. I was thinging of going with a Alpine HU with the v-Drive (26 watts RMS so no need for an amp on inerior speakers) and 2 10'' subs with a 600 watt amp. You guys think i am asking for trouble or should i be fine?

Just get another battery and a battery isolator with a good 1.0 farad cap and you should be alright. Not optimal but its about the only way short of replacing it with a bigger altenator (one that makes the same amps at less rpm).
You could also get a bigger pulley but you said you didnt want to do that.

Thanks guys. I apprecitate the help. Im most likely just gonna do one sub and 200-300 watt amp. Hopefully alpines v-drive is as good as everyone says it is and i wont need an amp to make the interior speakers sound decent.
