quick electrical question for fog lights

Default quick electrical question for fog lights

theres a purple wire and a black wire going to my fogs....

and there is a red wire and a white wire for my halo headlight.
which do i hook up to which?

If the halo is lit with LEDs, then it will only work one way. If it is lit with an incadescent bulb, then it shouldnt matter. Either way, test it and use the orientation that works.

Red is typically +12 (switched, if I remember correctly) and Black is typically Ground. I'd try connecting the Red halo wire to the Purple fog light wire and the White halo wire to the Black fog light wire.

I did a quick search and found some threads that discussed wiring, but nothing about fog light wiring colors. Here are a couple links on alternative wiring methods:
