Better components or better sub?
MB Quart QSD216's
Alpine SWR-1041D
or
Diamond Audio S600C
JL Audio 10w6v2
I'm stuck! The QSD's are an awesome speaker although I like the silk dome sound but the JL sub is supposed to be incredible.
Any advice?
Also considering the Diamon Audio CM3's.

Just got back from an Audio store and listened to the Diamond Audio S600s HEX components. I compared them with the mid line JL 6.5, 2 way, and 3 way component sets. The Diamonds were much smoother. Better highs, not harsh at all, and the mids were natural. I was actually surprised by the midbass they were putting out. I think I'm set on the components and amps. Still not sure about the sub though but will probably go with the Diamond.

handling capabilities (170w) and range 38hz-32K is phenomenal. I will not claim these are the best, in fact, they are overpriced IMO, but a darn good speaker.
Again, silk dome vs titanium!
I had the Infinity Kappa 62.I several years ago w/silk dome, but much prefer the titanium tweeters. Nothing that a little tuning can't fix! Again, all personal preference. As for subs, nothing wrong w/JL
