i never said the jl's were a bad sub, nobody in this thread has said they are a bad sub. but there just may be a sub or two other than the almighty jlaudio that might possibly sound better in a particular application.

you cant just ignorantly state "JL wins drags". have you ever seen an fbody with a single 12" in a stealthbox win a spl drag? in case you forgot thats what we're talking about here...

ID is all about SQ, not SPL.

Exactly my point Image dynamics has their place and so does JL Audio. For his application, I recommended JL. Mainly because they are idiot proof meaning the box and sub are ready to drop in...just add power. There is no matching sub to box, the box fits perfect and looks great, and sounds great too.
