Default kinda new to this, sub and amp questions inside

ok so i was thinking about maybe getting a sub for my trunk. i would like to make it where i can mount the amp on the box so it is hidden and can all be easily removed. now here are the questions, what all do i need? i helped a friend on his s10 so i have some idea. i know i need the bi gage wire for the battery, that goes to the amp right? then the big gage ground to the body. and then i run wires to the sub itself. how do i go about hooking into the stock unit? something called rca's if i recall correctly. i would think a 10 would suit me well, and from what i have heard from others and actually heard a w3 is pretty good. say i run that and an amp, which i dont need a big amp for that, how much would it all run me? i would think i could get some of this used off here but i would prob want a new speaker, and amp if they dont cost much

what do you guys recommend i do and can you give me a cost?? how do you get the box to stay put in that little opening in the trunk on the driver side? and how can i run all the wire so it is not noticed?? thanks in advance

o yeah and do i have to do anything with any of the stock pieces??

Might look into JL Stealth boxes. They are relatively light considering normal weights. They fit good and sound good.

If the vehicle is equipped with the Bose® or Monsoon® subwoofer system, you must purchase a new driver side rear trim panel from GM parts in order to install the Stealthbox®.

i dont really get this that i read on there. and is there room for an amp to be mounted on there? id like to have it where i can take it all out if i go to the strip and i dont wanna go drilling things if you knwo what i mean. and im still lookin for a price on all that, is there a price list on that site or no? and what kinda amp do you recommend, i dont wanna spend a whole lot on this

are there plugs in the back for rca's or do i have to tap into wires? on the stock unit

Do you have the monsoon? Reason for this is because the amp is located there.

No you do not have preamp (RCA) outputs on the back of your factory deck. You will need to get a aftermarket head unit or a high to low level preamp converter.
