How to connect my amp to the battery
You should have a fuse/breaker within 18" of the battery.
You should have a fuse (if there is not one built into the amp) just before the amp itself.
If you wanting to charge the system initially you need to use a resistor. (mainly for use of charging capacitors)
If your wanting to know how to connect the power wire to the battery they make battery posts specifically for that.
You unscrew the stock cable/bolt out of the battery, ditch the factory bolt and replace it with this, and it gives you a extra bolt on top to connect a power wire. I have 0 gauge power wire running to my battery using one of these.
Really common. I think I saw them at Wallmart also. Shouldn't be more than $11-$13
Ask for a GM Battery Post. Or you can use the Post by the Drivers side that is under the Red Cover inbetween the Fuse boxes. (F-bodies)

also i suggest u fuse each amp individually too b 4 the amp, even if they already have fuses built in. extra pre-caution, and not expensive at all.
