If you've got it mounted up by the mirror how did you extend the cord to reach way down in the dash panel? I'm interested.

With the V1, you just plug in the extender cable and you dont even have to open the radar.
what's this company's name? I would like to work with them to do up a passport version in my ws6. Thanks!

But could someone get the radar to talk to me? "Bi**h slow down the cops are behind you!"
That's what I'm talking about! That would be bad ***. Is there any way to reprogram the radar for things like alert sounds and voices?

I do have it mounted just above the rear view mirror. I used the straight cable that comes with the kit. I ran it up and through the window trim, to the left and down the left pilar. I hard wired it into an ignition wire so that it comes on when I start the car.

I have had police beside, behind, in front of me, they have not seen it. I even got pulled (before I upgraded to POP protection) and the cop did not see it. note: illegal in Va (not that I use it here).

What about it? If you're asking if the radar detectors they are using detects pop radar then take another look at what they are using. The V1 is the top of the line. Just below that is the Escort and Bell. Asking if these detectors have pop protection is like asking if a new car has EFI.
