Hey, I'm looking at getting a passport, is there that much of a difference between the 8500 and the 8500 x50? I'm looking on ebay and the difference between them in price is around 150 bucks, is it worth the extra 150 bucks for the x50?

the x50 is the new one that is supposed to be really good, i dont know exactly how they compare, but the x50 has newer features than the 8500. The 8500 x50, rx65 pro, and valentine v1 are supposed to be the top three out, everyone on this site convinced me to get a v1, i got it less than a week ago.

thx for your comment, i'm wondering if any1 on here has upgraded from the 8500 to the 8500 x50 and could compare them and if it was worth the upgrade.

there is no such upgrade. i contacted escort directly concerning it and it does not exist. they dont want to lose x50 sales. although they promised an upgrade, they did not release it. jerks
