iPod accessory box install
When I turn off my fully charged ipod, I hold the play/pause button for a second and the led screen turns off. The problem is when I turn the Ipod back on after a few hours, the battery in half full. Am I turning the Ipod off the wrong way?
cool devise. I have over 1500songs saved. Is there a way to erase the songs off the ipod hard drive?
1. To get things off or your iPod you need to reconnect it to your computer and use the iTunes to select or deselect (add/delete from playlist) songs on your iPod. You don't have to put every song in iTunes on your iPod. That is what the playlists are for. I only put certain playlists on mine. You must remove the song from the playlist that is on your iPod. Never connect iPod to iTunes that has no music on it and update songs automatically, it will erase your music.
2. The battery issue, well it could be a bad battery, but mine will do similar type things, but as I leave it on the charge meter will creep up until it is 3/4 or more full. Just keep an eye on it. If your iPod will hold more than a 2 hour continuous playing time charge Apple will not replace it even though they advertise that it will last 8 hours. I have never gotten mine to last 8 hours. Sucks I know, but I still love that thing, and since it now charges in my car I don't worry about it.
One last thing the $60.00 iPod battery backup that takes 4 AA batteries is awesome. I used my iPod for a trip to Hawaii and it worked the entire time, and I did not need to replace those batteries.
Hope this helps.
