Gauge and Radio dim problems

Gauge and Radio dim problems I honestly dont' know what I did but when I turn on my head lights the gauge cluster and the radio completely black out. I can't tell how fast I'm going at night. I am going off the sound of the engine right now but damn this sucks.
The only thing electronic that I messed with before this happened is disconnecting the 12V power ports in the console to install a shifter.
I checked the fuse next to the cluster and it seemed fine. When I adjust the dimming it has no effect on it.
Not to sure what I did or what could cause this.
Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks a lot fellas. Thats exactly what it was, the "dimmer" fuse.
Heck I didn't even know it was there. I thought it was the "Gauge" fuse. After I saw that on the panel I just homed in on it and didn't even bother at looking at the other ones.
