Where Do you get New Fog Lights?
Hey, One of my factory fog lights is out on my z28. Im not looking to upgrade, just want to replace the burnt out one. Do I have to get a whole new fog light or is it just a bulb like the headlights? Also, where is the cheapest place to get them and about how much does a replacement blub/fog light cost? Thanks in adavance!

It should be just a bulb, a word of caution though, if your fog lights are plastic like the T/As, an increase in bulb wattage can, and likely will, cause the foglight to melt due to the increased heat

The fog light bulbs are basically the same for the Camaro and Firebird except that the Camaro has a right-angle plug while the Firebird has a straight plug. The standard bulb is the 27 watt #881 for Camaro (#880 for Firebird). This can be safely upgraded to the 37 watt #894 in the Camaro (#893 for Firebird) without worrying about melting housings or sockets and gives a 75% increase in brightness. In fact, later model Camaros (01 & 02) and many Pontiac models other than the Firebird came with the 37 watt bulbs from the factory.
There are also 50 watt bulbs that will fit (#886 for Camaro, #885 for Firebird) but these have been reported to cause heat related problems such as lens distortion, melted housings and sockets being damaged.
These are all industry standard bulb numbers that are available from any auto parts store (Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.).
