Help Please: head light shakes while driving
Help Please: head light shakes while driving My 1998 TA has 90,000+ miles, and I'm begining to notice that the right side headlight jiggles or bounces with the movement of the car. I inspected both light assemblies to compare their "rigidity" and I noticed that the right side has "play" where the motor arm contacts the back of the headlight unit. Is there a bushing back there that can be replaced? Is there a part number? Is there a fix for this?
Just compare the little plastic buttons and such from the other side to the side jiggling. Sometimes a small plastic "cushion" will break off Also look at the arm on the motor. It will rotate until it hits a plastic stop piece. Make sure it's still there and not damaged.

The headlight motor is really poorly designed, and consists of a gear inside a plastic shell, with a plastic cap basically glued on. Sometimes that cap becomes loose (or even comes off), allowing the headlight to flap in the breeze.
If it isn't what JasonWW said, remove the headlight motor, and inspect it. That will most likely be the problem (if it isn't the lil plastic bump-stop).
