Does anyone know how to make a A/C turn off switch?
I would just like to be able to have cold air sometimes without the a/c kicking on. Also making sure its not on is an added bonus.

Thanks but I can swear that when in blue area not in the 3 A/C setting, just wanting outside air the A/C is still on and very cold. Should just be normal outside air.
I know with EFILive you can turn it on and off at will, is it possible to make a switch to force this off?

2MuchRiceMakesMeSick is correct - the A/C compressor doesn't operate in the vent and heat positions. It will operate in all other positions (including blend and defrost). This is because running the A/C not only cools the air but also dries it, so it is used for defrosting the windshield.
Cars that come equipped with a separate A/C switch are designed that way. You could put a switch inline with either the dark green or the dark green with white stripe wire under the A/C compressor relay in engine junction box #2 but you may create other problems. The cycling of the compressor is controlled by the PCM and I don't know what the side effects of disabling the compressor with a switch might be.
