Default Power window problem!!

All of the sudden my window wouldnt go up I played with the switch for a bit and it would go up a little then stop. Finally I got it all the way up.
I have heard that the motors are not the greatest in f-bods. Is it more the switch itself or is this a sign the motor is going south? Thanks for the help
in advance.

Are they easy to replace? Anyone have a write up on it? Perhaps Install
University?

Just did my passenger side one yesterday. You need a good riveting tool, and prepare to get a little grease on your hands. It is fairly easy, take out the two guides, then drill out the 4 rivets holding the motor to the door panel, you can't miss them. Then carefully unplug the motor and slide the whole assembly out the back. Also it is a lot easier if you have someone hold the window so you can have them move it up and down for getting the wheels out of the track. Next you carefully separate the motor from the regulator, put something through the hole so the thing doesn't come flying apart when you drill out the small rivets holding the motor on to the regulator. Reverse the process and you should be all good.

Mine just did the same thing yesterday. I just got the car 2 days ago and noticed my driver window went up and down really slowly...i just figured it was a GM power window . Then yesterday, I was rolling it up, and it slowed down to a complete stop. after waiting about a minute, it went up a little more then stopped...and then about a minute later i tried it again and got it up all the way. so from what i'm hearing here...i need a new motor
