ok started tonite for no reason....i get home turn off my car (at night) n put the headlights down n i get a nasty sound. its the driver side headlight motor still moving when i put it down(only down not up at all) i was like wtf then i set my alarm the headlight went up with them on then back down and made the sound again. what would cause that? headlights dont go up when u set the alarm. and its soooo loud its imbaressing. any help thanks iv never heard netin like this.

I had the same problem, check out the Firebird section, and look at the sticky, its the plastic gear that makes the headlight go up and down, its real easy fix, but only temp, u really need to buy a metal gear.

Mine did the same thing.. I did the 180* mod. That worked for awhile then the cover for the gear fell off (guess i didnt glue it enough) So, i ended up buying a used one on ebay for like 50 bucks shipped.

i know that problem but thats not it then i set my alarm the lights go up then down. when i unlock the car the lights go up n down. when i turn the lights on for jus the fogs my lights go up but there off. everytime the lights go down the driver one keeps spining n makin a nasty sound. so there is sumtin else the matter iv never seen netin like this

Thats whats causing it.. The driver side motor. The motor keeps spining. You have to get it fixed. It throws all that crap off and does funny things. Just get a used motor and throw it in and it will be fixed, or do the metal gear mod but i lost my cover to the gear so i had to get a used one.
