Anyone done this? How would it sound? I've got a couple month old Clarion HU from my 3rd gen I sold. I want to put it in the Z, but I don't have the funds to do speakers right now. Gotta get a clutch/tires first. Any opinions/suggestions welcome.
TIA,
Jason

I put an Alpine HU in my car (CDA-9833 I think). It does sound better, but I bought mine for the MP3 player as well. I think it may sound better due to all the sound options (downloadable equalizer options). It also had the ability color match the red interior lights. At the time, it was either sony xplod or alpine for the color match and I haven't heard too much good about the xplod.

Well I've got the nearly brand new Carion w/ MP3 and satellite capability. That's my main reason for asking. I'll have to get a wiring harness adapter and an install kit.
Thanks for the replies guys.
