passenger side window

Hey I am having a problem with the passeneger side window rolling up and down, it will go up so far then it wont work when I depress the button! if I wait a whike it will work again....Could it be I have a short somewhere! has anyone experienced this before.....Please help. Thanks

both of my windows started doing that off and on for about a month, and then one day my driver side window would no go down at all, i had to go and replace the window motor unit.
